MySudra embodies the enduring heritage of the Jewish People, with a mission to empower all those who proudly wear this ancient crown.

Rediscover Judean Tradition
For millennia, the Sudra has been the native headdress of the Jewish People.
It appears in ancient texts and depictions of sages from Rambam and the Ben Ish Chai to Shimon bar Yochai.
Worn by men and women, it is traditionally wrapped around the head and can also be worn as a hood or scarf.
Two thousand years of diaspora and persecution caused Jewish communities to minimize their Sudras into smaller, more concealable head coverings, today called “kippahs” or “yarmulkas”. While a minority of Jews preserved this ancient practice, over time most Jews entirely forgot what the original Jewish head covering really looked like.
MySudra was created to reclaim that lost thread, to revive the Sudra as a living Hebrew tradition and to restore forgotten aspects of our identity for generations to come.
